The Campus Celebrity Award – CAMCA is one of the most prominent student event in Africa, celebrating the creativity, impact, leadership and innovation of students. Our mission is to foster recognition and unity among the students. 

The contributions of Nigerian students to the nation’s socio-economic development deserve greater visibility, recognition, and encouragement. When students are celebrated for their creativity, talent, and impact, it not only motivates them to excel further but also inspires their peers to pursue excellence in their respective fields.

It is in this spirit that the Campus Celebrity Award (CAMCA) was established — an initiative aimed at celebrating authentic student talent, creativity, positive influence, and social impact. This event also honors the institutions and communities that play a vital role in nurturing these students.

CAMCA is more than just an award ceremony; it is a celebration of student culture and community. Its purpose is to promote unity, inspire value-driven engagement and highlight the importance of student contributions within and beyond their academic environments.

The first institution to be awarded CAMCA is Lagos State University of Science and Technology – LASUSTECH formerly Laspotech 2022 during her Polytechnic days before turning to university.

The first private university to be awarded CAMCA in Nigeria is Crescent University Abeokuta – CUAB 2024
